World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade

Most of the private servers running The Burning Crusade use patch 2.4.3, that means once you download the right patch, you will be able to play on almost any server that runs the same update. The listed clients are pre-installed, and all you need is to unzip then from the zip file, then update your client files to the server you would like to play.

Windows Torrents
Here’s an important note regarding torrents: be careful, because Blizzard often automatically files copyright strikes with ISPs for those who use torrents to download their old clients. However, there are a couple of options to solve it, we recomment to try either a cloud based torrent client (Bitport is a good example of such type of a torrent) or a VPN (Proton VPN (Proton VPN is a good pick, they have also a decent free plan).

MacOS Client
/u/vanillalad from Reddit figured out how to get the native Mac client working. However, some servers such as Warmane block the native MacOS client.
In order to install it, simply put the World of Warcraft.app into your 2.4.3 TBC folder and click “replace”. You do not have to download a mac 2.4.3 WoW folder, since it’s faster to just download a windows 2.4.3 and put the World of Warcraft.app inside it and run it. (But yes, it will still work if you have a mac WoW folder)
